To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month our Spanish classes created posters. Their focus was Mexico's Independence, "El Grito." This celebration is BIG, it gets broadcasted live every September 15 around midnight on Spanish TV and the celebration continues on the 16th. They talk about the history and have live music with many famous bands and Hispanic artists. It also shows the president giving a speech, El Grito, and finishes with a long firework show at the end. For the poster, they discussed 10 points of information: where, when, by who, dates, actions etc. This was worth one grade and for the second grade it was how creative and artistic the poster looked.
