Bulldogs, The AHS Facebook page has been hacked. We are working to get the issue resolved. Please refer to the APS app or district Facebook page for updates and information. Thank you to our faculty, staff, and community members for reporting the issue.
Parents just to inform you, our phones are temporarily down at Rivers. We are working to get everything back up and going. In the meantime, our teachers do have the app available if you need to send a message to school. We hope to have it up shortly.

Rivers Elementary Science Fair is coming soon. Information has been sent home to 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students. If your student would like to participate please fill out the form and send back to school by February 3, 2025.
I hope all of our families are enjoying their day in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Dress warm it is supposed to be cold. This week we will be collecting items for our local food bank. If able, send in items with your child to their classroom. We will collect items from the classrooms on January 27th.

This is just a reminder of the Aviation Fair at the Jr. High School.
This Saturday, 7 December, the 97 AMW Aviation Inspiration Mentorship (AIM) Wing Program is hosting an Aviation Fair at Altus Junior High School located at 1601 S. Park Lane from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public and will provide entertainment for the whole family – STEM activities, interactive demonstrations, and AAFB Airmen there to answer questions with photo opportunities.
